Ok, Billy sent me his evp's and I've listened to them repeatedly trying to figure out a couple of areas that I can't quite make out. But the part where the older man says Irene, Irene Hampton gets my attention. I notice that it's a strange tone and is like hearing (the price is right) but if you listen to it closely then you'll notice that it's almost a calling not like "come on down" but more like "I know your here, answer me" like he's calling for her to come to him, (a parent's voice so to speak, when a child is in trouble and you call them by Direct name) Also, you mentioned that this centers in the one area more than others of where the spiral staircase used to be. This building was converted from a single family home, is it divided into 1 apartment per floor or multiple apartments on each floor? And if there are multiple apartments on each floor are the other tenants on that floor experiencing simular occurances? Just a couple things I was thinking about. I hope we'll be able to go through the building on all the floors if possible, I'm looking forward to seeing the structure and trying to figure out why that precise area seems to be the most haunted.

It depends on the other Tenants. Billy knows the girl who lives in the apartment directly below the active bedroom. So if all else fails that might be the only apartment we get into. Even though we have experienced a Haunting upstairs, it doesn't mean any of the other Tenants have experienced any Hauntings. I would hate to ruin their little utopia, by asking if their apartment is Haunted too? Perhaps they haven't experienced anything, but after we ask; they may stop to question every little creak the house makes from that time on. Even though they may be natural sounds, it might freak them out. No need to cause them any emotional distress thinking they live in a Haunted House. That might just be enough to ruin their "comfort zone". Let me tell you. My house out at Spring Lake had it's share of Hauntings. I frequently would have to wake up in response to Ghosts in my bedroom. I would yell at them to get out. It was hard to get back to sleep after that. Not because I was scared, but due to the adrenaline surge! Since moving into my apartment on the Hospital's Campus, I haven't been bothered by Ghosts. It's been very comforting to not have to deal with them where I live. (Though there is a part of me that misses those encounters ). But it, is out weighed by the part of me that is happy I live in a Ghost Free location!

True, I understand that. Even if they are experiencing things is other parts of the building they may not be willing to say ghost (most people wouldn't) so you make a valid point. I wouldn't go around asking them I was just curious if there had been other tenants who'd reported anything unusual. That's kind of neat that you say you kind of miss having your encounters. Now I don't feel so strange anymore. I've found that when I've been away from home and haven't had my visits that I notice they aren't there and I'm actually anxious to get home. Maybe I'm just an adrenaline junkie, but I tend to be comforted by the spirits that share my home. I just wish I could of said that about a few other places I've lived...I've had a couple who were anything but comforting Anyway, I'm sure if were meant to find anything we will. And if not then that happens also, so I never come expecting anything. It's like Iowa weather never plan it can change in the next 5 minutes lol.
