A frequent question I have regarding my family, is: "I often wonder, that if I should die unexpectedly like in a car crash or something, would my family have the thought to notify my friends on the various websites I visit, to inform them of my passing?" I just don't know? Does your family know your feelings on this subject matter?

That's actually a good question, and honestly one I hadn't thought of myself. If something were to happen to me I'm sure that everyone who visits here would be informed by one of our other member's, but as far as the other sites I visit I'm not sure.
I know that both of us (meaning you and I) both belong to a few other boards together, but outside there I'm not sure who could pass along a message to the other's.
Maybe that is something I should talk to Arn about, and let him know should anything happen who he should contact.

I would hope one of my siblings would get into my favorites list and notify the members at other boards. Most are set up as automatic logins, so they wouldn't need my passwords to get in. Plus I would hope they did the same for people's names they don't recognize in my emaill address book. I think I'll copy this note and send it out to my family so they know my wishes, in regards to this type of event.
