I'm not sure exactly what everyone's thoughts might be on this subject but I want to share the story and hear what everyone has to say. I hope you can be patient as it will be sort of long, but hopefully I'll be able to explain everything as much as I can and have it still all make sense.
Monday I had quite a few people come and visit, starting with my friend Anne who is like me and involved in Avian (bird) Rescue
She stopped for a few reasons. First, to see how I was doing since getting out of the hospital Sunday, secondly to let me know what is happening with her husband who is also having health issues, and thirdly to let me know she's having problems with her birds being sick, and she's not sure why.
So we talked for quite awhile discussing everything and I check my furnace thermostat (this is important later) to see what the temperature in my house was reading because she mentioned that her furnace was still turned on and her house wouldn't get above 60 degrees. So I wanted to be able to let her know how warm my house was. (My furnace has been shut off since about mid April, and my house is as large as hers)
Anyhow after she left my next visitors showed up, my Mom was one and the other's were my friend Marie and her 3 y.o. son Nick.
We were all visiting and Nick wasn't able to go outside so he was playing with the dogs, and my birds like he always does when he comes to visit me.
We had been talking for quite awhile and my Mom (Firefly) went to take my dogs out. Marie, Nick and me all stayed inside. Then I heard a really strange noise and thought it sounded like my furnace had turned on. I asked Marie what it sounded like to her and she agreed.
We looked over at my window and the scarf on my stand was blowing (the window was closed) so I went and checked and sure enough my furnace was not only on but was on the highest setting it has (over 90 degees) but I knew from earlier that it was turned off.
At first I didn't know what to think but then Nick made a really strange comment. He said "My guydid it" Well like I said he's 3, so stories aren't unusual for kids his age. Or at least that was my first thought until his mom started telling me about some of his new things he'd been talking about.
After she started to tell me about his new "friend" that he'd been talking about for awhile, he came over and started telling me himself. He walked over and sat down in the chair and told me about "GUY"
I'm going to try and put this the same way Nick said it, so I hope I don't confuse anyone. I asked him, who is Guy? and this was what he told me. "Guy is just guy, he's big and black really black so you can't almost see him because he's really big and black, and he sleeps in my bed sometimes"
So I asked him again who he was and if he had a name. "No, he's just Guy, and he's my friend. But he walked to your house but he don't like it here so he walked back to his house, my house. And he want's me to come home, but he turned it on, I didn't turn it on"
(That comment about Nick not doing it I believe for a couple reasons - he's not tall enough to reach it, and he's never touched it before althought he's been here several times.) Anyhow his story continued as follows.
"He (Guy) lives in my house and in his house, and he goes in my mom & dad's room, and in Curtis & Michael's room. And he turned on my fan. And he makes a light and there's no lectric (electricity) or batteries in that room, and there was a key up on by the ceiling, and I told Michael, see that key and he seen it to"
"But Guy he's died, he's already dead, and I don't know why because he's already died. But he goes all over, and he goes all over the world because he's already died and he can do that and because he lives in the dead peoples world. And he stays in my house and in his house and he goes all in the houses"
Then as quick as he'd started telling me about it Guy, he stopped and asked his mom could they go home because Guy was there and wanted him to come home.
Needless to say he had my attention, and like I said earlier I know that kids will make up stories ect. But the stone cold look on his face and the seriousness in his words, and his words in general tell me that this "friend" isn't one he just made up, not with all the detail and information he had about him.
Now to add another twist to this mix, for the last few weeks, or basically right up until 2 days before I went into the hospital. I had been having some really strange things happen, but I wasn't alone, I just wasn't aware of that fact until Monday when I had all my visitors here.
I was having nightmares?, none that I could remember, but bad enough to sit me straight up in bed, and cause me to not want to sleep afterwards. And I was getting bruises that I couldn't explain
showing up on me like handprints where someone had grabbed me. (my husband saw these)
When Anne showed up Monday she told me that she'd been having trouble sleeping, and having nightmares that woke her straight up. Then she told me about the bruises and rolled her sleeve up. There was a deep handprint bruise on her upper arm in the same place I'd been getting mine. And she said she'd been getting them for about 3 weeks.
That was strange enough as it was, but then after she had left and Marie & Nick came down, Marie showed me her arm. And though it wasn't on the top part on the muscular area she also had a bruise that looked like a handprint only her's only seemed to have 3 fingers, two side by side and the third spaced out like one of the fingers (possibly a ring finger) was missing. Nick spoke up then and said "Guy was in my Mom's room last night" Then he walked away again.
None of us knew anything about the other's bruises or dreams, but we all had the same events occure basically. Although I can't say if Marie was having the nightmares, and that was the first bruise she had had or noticed. It was still really odd that it has been happening.
As of right now, I talked to Marie today. She was going to the store and Nick told her that Guy wanted to go with them. She wasn't sure what to say so she called and asked me. I told her to tell Nick to tell Guy he couldn't go, he had to stay home. Nick told her "He's not at our house, he's at his house" So I told her to tell him (Nick) to tell Guy he had to stay at his house.
Marie came over tonight to see how I was feeling, and to let me know that Nick told her "Guy's mad at me (at Nick)" and then he said "and Guy is mad at you (Marie)" I told her maybe I should have had her tell him that they were going to come to my house and Guy had to stay where he was because he doesn't like my house. But that's how it goes, you always think of those things afterwards.
I'm not sure what is happening with Anne, I haven't heard from her since Monday. And other than Nick still talking to, and about "Guy" things seems to be quiet at their house. Mine on the other hand seems to be going off of the deep end, and things are anything but quiet.
But I'll explain more about that later. As for now I'd really like to hear what everything thinks of all of this. Because honestly as it stands now I'm at a total blank, and really can't come to a decision on how to think of all of this.
