I live in an old house. It is my childhood home and I love it dearly. I am not sure about somethings though. Like when I was little I remember at the top of the steps up stairs seeing a purple claw. They say children are more psychic than adults. I went and grabbed a french fry net and went to try and capture it (I was stupid). When I got up there it was gone. No biggie except I have had three dogs over the course of ten years barking at a wall in my basement. Well about 4 years ago an external secret room collapsed because of the water main and we found a 8 by 8 room outside the house. In the same corner where the dogs have and one still does bark. At night you can hear foot steps and my roomate now has seen people out of the corner of her eye that vanish. The way I look at it. If they like the house and are nice to me than they can be roomies too.

Yea kids are more open than adults because society hasn't convinced them that ghost / spirits ect. don't exist. So it's not uncommon for them to notice things we don't. LOL, I think you were pretty creative, thinking of grabbing a net to catch it wasn't stupid it was just kid logic, think of all the people you could have freaked out if you'd captured it. Have you tried researching the history of your house? I wonder what that secret room was used for? It might have been a shelter room of some kind or ? It might be interesting to see what you can learn about it. Are you in Iowa? If so you should be able to go to the court house or even maybe the library and find information about it. It sounds like they are comfortable with you, so unless you start having problems I wouldn't be to worried, and your dogs barking is most likely because they are noticeing things also. My birds and dogs go off like crazy whenever Visitor Kitty is on the prowl.

Yeah I thought about doing ITC or EVP with them, but I heard that can also attract unwanted spirits. I have done research but there is not much I have found concerning things of that nature. So I have learned to hun them in other areas. Some nice, some not so nice.

The room sounds much like the room I was kept in most of my life. When it was a nescessity to send me out to get a job, my family bought my first piece of clothing. It was a Hat! They said to me, when applying for a job, be sure to hold your hat over your privates. That's being polite! If you see a lady, be sure to tip your Hat, out of curtiousness! LMAO I didn't grow up in a cellar room! Where do I come up with this crap! Good story Deimos! I would love to hear more! TT

It's a form of spirit communication ( sceance ), using a Card Table. I won't go into any details on how to do it, as it's nothing for kids to get involved in. Other than to say it's an intrigueing activity. However if you are looking for answers to life affirming questions, this isn't the route to get good advice. Table Tipping is much like a Ouija Board form of communication, but different in it's own right. TT
