Recently I have been trying to demonstrate the practice of "Table Up" to my family members, but with minimal results. We've struggled to get the tables to even rise off the floor. We've not been able to get them to answer any questions. It is very frustrating. I don't know if it's due to us using different tables who have had their table tops replaced or really what is going on. The last time I tried a different table, I had a friend of mine who is a ( Self Proclaimed Witch ) help me test that Table. It was an active Table! Up on only one leg, swiveling left and right, it even walked across the floor in a canter leaving manner. But on the downside, she ( the Witch ) says she ran into a string of bad luck after that session. I doubt she will participate again any time soon, if ever. Food for thought!

Is your family more skeptic minded and not really open to this sort of thing? If so that can definately have an affect on the outcome. I know you said it's better not to bless the area where the table is going to be used, but your friend should have remembered the rede (and should have put her protective circle around herself) But then again, it may have just been her time for the turning of the elements and the bad luck streak could have been coincidence, and the table was just what was being blamed. I'm still interested in trying this so I'm keeping my ears open for any other willing participants.

My friend creates a lot of turmoil in her life with poor decisions. But she is unwilling to accept any responsibility for her actions, or belief that she could be the cause of the woes in her life. Basically she is a "Train Wreck waiting to happen!" I talked to her last night before work, and she still isn't willing to accept responsibility for the woes in her life. She blames everyone else for her problems. She's like an Alcoholic. She lives in denial! Until she is willing to admit that she has problems, nothing anyone else says or does will make a difference. She just hasn't hit rock bottom yet!
