Just today I was visiting with some Nursing Home Staff who admitted that on their Overnight Shift some of the Staff have reported seeing a partial apparition. All they ever report seeing is a black foot that steps out from a corner in the hall way. When they go to see who is standing around the corner out of sight, they find no one is there. I beguiled them with a few of my own stories of hauntings I've experienced. I was surprised to see that they were open to hearing about these experiences. Since they come off, sometimes acting like "Churchy People". I meant that in a good way. Honest! LOL!

That's awesome that other people are admitting to having events occure.
It makes me wonder who is peeking in on them. Possibly a previous resident I would guess.
It would great if those places could be investigated, I'd jump at the chance LOL
I understand what you mean by churchy people, and I dought if anyone here on the board would be offended.
We have a few people like that around here, religious to the point of where you'd never expect to hear anything ghostly related come from them.

You got it!
When I think of their "Black Foot" Ghost; I always think of Adam Sandler's black frost bitten foot in the movie "Mr. Deeds"!

LOL, that's what I thought of when I first saw the subject of this post.
TT, would you be willing to tell me / us about your tour of the house in Sioux City? I was looking for information on it but with no info I can't seem to find it.
And honestly you got my curiousity going after you mentioned it in your email. I want to hear more please.

I don't remember how many years it's been since the murders took place. I would imagine some time in the last decade. The murderer was the boyfriend of the Mother of the family he killed. He was a drug addict and obviously high when he bludgeoned the Mother and 5 children to death. Starting with the Mother on the entryway steps leading upstairs, killing kids as he encountered them on the steps or in their bedrooms. I talked to a News Reporter who's friend had something to do with the crime scene photos taken by the Police. The victims were so mutilated with their skulls crushed by repeated blows, that they were unrecognizable. That photographer I believe left her job because the photos and crime scene were so horrific. The tour I took part in, was more of a ruse, than a real tour. The city had offerred the house for sale, and some Ghost Hunter wannabees made arrangements to inspect the house under the guise of being prospective buyers. This rag tag group that I was with, had invited me to go with them; was the first time, the Realitor had showed the house to anyone. They had done a good job of cleaning up the house, and repainted it, and offered it at low price. Hoping to sell it, and take the stigma off the house, and the neighborhood as a scene of a gastly crime. But as we inspected the house, one member of the group noticed a bloody finger print left on the underside of the railing where it attached to the banister. Tailtale evidence of the crime spree. I felt uneasy about the whole situation, and the fact that we lied to get into see the place. But I did it anyway, as it was the only opportunity I would have to see the house. As I would never do anything like that on my own. If you want to research the crime, do a search on Ron Fish's Murder in sioux City. He was the last guy the murderer killed in another location that night. Ron Fish was the brother, I believe, to Ben Fish the owner of "Ben Fish Tires" in Sioux City. It was rumored that the drug addict and Ron Fish had some sort of twisted sex relationship going on too. I haven't done any computer searches on this crime, so I don't know if the info I gave you will narrow your search or not. Or how correct my info is. I just hope you leave my name out of any inquiries you make.

I don't mention names, and so there's no worry there. Gees I went and did a look up and those only happened 5 years ago. It seems strange we didn't hear anything about it over in our area, I guess they wanted to keep it low profile or But Thanks for sharing your info, I wonder if they ever sold the house or it still has the same "stigma" that the crime placed on it? That was a brutal mess too.

I doubt I'd be able to find the location in Sioux City again. It was in a seedy neighborhood, that I wouldn't bother going to alone.
